For two days in June I was a guest at the annual Award at Malaysia Airlines in Kuala Lumpur. A company that have been through some very hard times after the disappearance of MH370. When Azman Ahmad from the HR Department called me, I instantly felt it would be too much of a task to give people a positive experience in times like this. Who am I, a guy who chase a dream with a wingsuit, compared to a huge international Airlines Company? It felt like a big jump, with too much uncertainty. But this jump I had to do, it took me two minutes to gather my thoughts and clear the schedule.
I was given some key points to reflect around before my speech: Conquering of fear, taking risk and the ability to just move on. Subjects that are part of everyday life for an given base jumper, but also part of life for most people. What met me in Kuala Lumpur far exceeded my expectations. The positive energy, welcoming attitude and professionalism in the Malaysian Airlines made it an experience Ill never forget.
Thank you to everyone I met at the Malaysia Airlines Academy in Kuala Lumpur:)
